AGE GROUPS AND PROGRAMS

“The most important period of life is not the age of university studies but the first one, from birth to the age of six. For that is the time when man’s intelligence itself, his greatest implement, is being formed.”
~Maria Montessori

Baby Bees Infant Care

Our infant program has been modeled after the European "Nanny Share" nurseries. You will love our unique, homey and cheerful environment, and your baby will develop a sense of trust and anticipation as she gets to know our familiar, friendly faces.

Our experienced caregivers will give your baby lots of affection and stimulation. Your baby will always be comforted, safe and secure. You will both feel especially well cared for by one person.

One primary caregiver focuses on the complete well-being of specific children. Your family will have a designated caregiver who will enthusiastically share the details of your baby's day with you.

Toddlers & Twos

Our enthusiastic staff encourages their budding communication skills by engaging the children in conversation and helping them to resolve conflicts peacefully with words. There may be times when the teacher will need to demonstrate appropriate language to help a frustrated toddler or two-year-old express her needs or emotions.

Our daily schedule balances individual free time with structured group activities. This mix of individual and group time promotes toddlers' growing independence as well as their ability to cooperate and share. We encourage skills that will help your toddler or two-year-old blossom into a confident preschooler!

Preschool (3 to 5 years old)

At Busy Bees, we work hard to encourage young minds to grow and learn through independence and creativity. Our program is designed so that each child will experience lots of freedom of choice. During the course of the day, your child will be given ample opportunity to choose from a variety of classroom learning centers, such as art, science, dramatic play, blocks, music and more.

Your child will learn about responsibility at Busy Bees. By mixing Montessori and traditional teachings, the children learn to clean up after play sessions and meals, wash hands, prepare snacks and perform other practical life skills. Busy Bees' low teacher-to-student ratio enables each child to receive the individual attention needed to learn.

Preschool children are always learning. We work very hard at Busy Bees to ensure that each child has the opportunity to learn in a fun and exciting atmosphere. We know that a positive early learning experience will provide a valuable foundation for your child's education for years to come.
